Did you guys see the Pantone color of 2015 has been announced? For those of you that missed it, this year it is Marsala. For those of you that are not familiar with the color, here are some blank garment that we carry for screenprinting & embroidery that are in that color family:

I have to be honest with you, it is not our favorite garment color! If you need a friendly reminder, last years color was Cobalt, which is a really awesome royalish blue color. We loved this! This color for blank garments is a little drab, unfun and certainly not bright and cheery. I will say though that if you want a professional, tasteful hue, this is a good choice. This might be a great choice for wearing in February because it is Valentines day feeling after all.

What color of screenprinting ink or embroidery thread would look best with Marsala? In talking to my professional team of artists, we love the idea of a metallic silver to give it a little more umph! Check out our metallic screen printing ink options here: https://www.brokenarrowwear.com/screen-printing-specialty-inks.html. We also have custom rhinestone designs that could be pretty awesome if using crystal stones!

What colors is our staff liking this year for custom printed t-shirts? We tend to have two different thoughts depending on what you are looking for. Are you looking for more traditional t-shirt colors? Go with Black, Vintage Navys and Grey. They are classic and pretty much well liked by large groups. Want something more fun? Go with Heather Irish Green or Sapphire! Add a little color to your life. Check out our most popular Gildan t-shirt colors here: https://www.brokenarrowwear.com/q/i.aspx?b=gildan&m=2000

What colors are you liking this year?

Hi, I’m Kortni Remer, CEO of Broken Arrow Wear — a second-generation, family-owned custom apparel company. I’ve been in this business for over 20 years, with most of my time spent on the customer service, sales, and operations side. I’ve helped grow Broken Arrow into a multi-million dollar company with in-house production and fulfillment that serves customers all over the U.S. While I’m not the one running the press, I have a strong working knowledge of our production workflows and know what it takes to keep things running smoothly so we can deliver with one of the fastest standard turnaround times in our industry. I still sit on the customer service floor with my team because staying close to our customers (and their feedback) is one of the most valuable things I can do. If you're curious what it looks like behind the scenes of a busy custom apparel shop, follow along as I share real moments, lessons learned, and a look at how we keep things running — from customer service to production and everything in between.
