Customer Spotlight of the Week: <\/strong>Children\u2019s Cancer Connection<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Broken Arrow T-Shirt Printing is proud to make fundraising T-shirts for Children\u2019s Cancer Connection.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children\u2019s Cancer Connection is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of children and families affected by childhood cancer. A non-profit organization based in Des Moines, Iowa, the Children\u2019s Cancer Connection supports pediatric cancer patients and their families through the entire journey by providing multiple services at little to no cost for patients and family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Hansen Home for Hope is located just one mile west of Blank Children\u2019s Hospital and offers families needed breaks from the hospital environment whether it is to do laundry; cook a meal and enjoy it around the dinner table; burn off energy in the exercise room; take a shower and\/or a nap, watch a movie; or host a family gathering or party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Hospital-based services includes a family resource binder that can be personalized with individual patient information; \u201cbeads for bravery\u201d that are given out for various procedures and medical treatments; \u201cbravery bucks\u201d that enable kids to purchase items from the Courage Store at Blank Children\u2019s Hospital; and visits by trained volunteers that will have fun with your child during the stay by playing games, reading, or creating craft projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Family activities include support groups; medical procedure role-playing; academic support when children must miss school for an extended period of time; and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
