Questions concerning the use of the Broken Arrow online t-shirt builder and shopping cart.
I'm at your T-shirt Designer… now what?
A:Great! The first thing you need to do is pick your garment or product. Next, you will need to decorate your garment or product with text, our clip art, or designs that you upload yourself! Once you're done, click the "Add to Cart" button and your design will be put into your Shopping Cart.
How do I pick a garment or product?
A:Click the "Select Product" tab within the T-shirt Builder. You can choose from the various garments within our catalog by selecting and clicking on the product category or the product brand.
For example, if you wanted to browse t-shirts, you could click the "Short Sleeve T-shirts" button which will show all of the short sleeve t-shirts. If you click the "Gildan" button underneath the "Short Sleeve T-shirts" category, only the Gildan short sleeve t-shirts will display.
Then click the garment or product you wish to decorate. An image of the garment or product you will appear once you've selected it.
How do I change my garment or product color?
A:Once you've selected your garment or product, a color tool will appear beneath the "Select Product" tab. Click on the color chip that is displayed and a color palette will appear for which you can choose your new product color.
How do I put text on my garment or product?
A:After you've chosen your garment or product, click the "Add/Edit Text" tab. Click inside of the "Add Text to Product" text box. Next, enter your text (you will need to delete the instructional "Type Your Text Here" text). Once you've typed in your text, click the "Add New Line" button to the right of the text box and the text will be added to your product!
Can I change how my text looks?
A:Of course! You can change your font face, color, whether or not you want bold or italics, and add a shadow or outline color. You can also change it so you text arcs up or down!
You control these effects by either clicking them to find more options or clicking on them and turning them on or off. You will need to do this before clicking "Add New Line" and adding it to your product.
How do I put clip art on my garment or product?
A:After you've chosen your garment or product, click the "Add/Edit Graphics" tab. Next, you can browse the clip art library by category. Once you've found a category you are interested in, click it, and then scroll down to view all of the pieces. Once you've selected a piece of clip art, a color tool will appear above the list of clip art files. Click on the color chip that is displayed and a color palette will appear for which you can choose your new color.
You can also search for a piece of clip art by entering in a short keyword in the "Search" text box.
Can I change how my clip art looks?
A:Yup! Once the clip art has been added to the product, you can change the clip art size and rotation by clicking on the piece of clip art and using the controls that appear on the clip art to turn and stretch or shrink the piece.
You can also flip, align, and control the layering of the piece of clip art by clicking the buttons found underneath the image of your designed product. "Flip" can literally flip your design on its side; "Align" can help you place the piece either to the left, right, or center of your shirt; and "Layers" controls how you move the image in front of or behind other pieces of art.
Move the position of the clip art by clicking on it and dragging it to your desired location.
Can I upload my own image?
A:Yes! After you've selected your garment or product, click the "Add/Edit Graphics" tab. Once there, click the "Upload your own image" to the right of the "Search" text box. Once you've done that, a file browser window will appear and you will need to select the graphic file you which to upload.
Once you select a file to upload to the T-Shirt Builder, a window will appear that allows you to pick which colors you would like to use to recreate your uploaded image. Simply select each color you would like to have it screenprinted with.
If your image is photo-like or has too many colors to count in it, check the box that says "My image has too many colors or too many gradients". This tells us that we will need to take a closer look at your art but also still allows you to quote your designed product.
You will need to certify that you have permission to reproduce the image you have uploaded before proceeding.
How do I edit my text or clip art after I've added it?
A:You will need to click on each piece of clip art or text in order to bring up the selection and edit tools again.
How do I delete items on my garment or product?
A:If you click on any piece of text, clip art, or uploaded art, three controls appear: rotate, resize, and delete. Delete is the one that appears as a red "X".
Can I change my product or product color after I've designed it?
A:Yessir! Any time you wish to change your change your garment, click the "Select Product" tab. From there, re-choose any product you want or change it's color.
Can I put art on other locations besides the front?
A:Definitely. Beneath the image of your designed product are controls for you to go to either the front, back, left sleeve, and right sleeve locations. By all means - put stuff everywhere!
I need to start my design over… how can I do this???
A:Above the image of your designed product is a button that says "Clear Designer". Click that button and you'll have a brand new T-shirt Builder to play with!
Can I save my design?
A:Yup! Click the "Save/Load Your Design" button to save. Just enter in a design name and you've saved it!
You will need to have cookies enabled in your browser in order to use this save feature. Additionally, this saves your design for you only. If you want Broken Arrow to be able to retrieve it, please add it to your cart and save your cart.
How do I retrieve a design I saved in the T-shirt Builder?
A:Click the "Save/Load Your Design" button to see a list of the designs you have saved.
I'm done designing! Now what?
A:Add your design to your cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button. Adding your design to your cart allows you to get an instant quote for the design you just made, email it to others, and of course BUY IT!
Shopping Cart Help
Questions concerning the use of the Broken Arrow shopping cart and its operation.
I'm in my Shopping Cart. Now what?
A:Great! Within the shopping cart you can do several different things. You can get instant price quotes, upgrade your design with Add-On's like foil or glitter ink, save your cart for future use, email your shopping cart to others, and add designs to other color or types of garments!
How do I get quotes within the Shopping Cart?
A:First, you'll need to make sure you have added at least one design to your cart. Once you do, find the section called "Sizes" for the design you wish to quote. Within the Sizes section you will see the available sizes for the garment you designed. In the middle of the Sizes section you will see small text boxes with a "0" inside them. Click inside these boxes and replace the "0" with the quantity of that particular size you would like to see prices for. Do this for each size to see your final quote.
How do I upgrade my design with specialty inks and services like foil or glitter?
A:First, you'll need to make sure you have added at least one design to your cart. Once you do, find the section called "Decorating Options" for the design you wish to add specialty inks or services to. Click on the Decorating Options button which will expand the area and show you which areas you have decorated. To the right of each location and art description there is a selection box that allows you to choose one Specialty Ink or Premium Service. Choosing a selection will let us know which design upgrade you would like as well as automatically adjust your pricing.
How do I add multiple garments or garment colors with the same design?
A:After adding a design to your cart, you may add other garments or garment colors with the same design to your cart. To do this, click the "Add Garment" button found in each design item. This takes you back to the T-shirt Builder, recreates the design, and you are free change the garment color or switch garments. Once you're done choosing your new product, click "Add to Cart" and you will have a new product in your cart!
Please note that multiple styles and garments colors can print together as long as the art stays the exact same. By pressing the Add Garment button, you are saying that the artwork is acceptable, but you just want to change the garment. If you change the artwork at all (size, colors, elements, etc.) you may lose special quantity pricing.
Can I edit my design after I've added it to my Shopping Cart?
A:Yup! Click the "Edit Design" button found in any design item to take you back to a specific design. This will take you back to the T-shirt Builder and recreate your design for editing. Once you are done making your edits, click the "Add to Cart" button and it will re-add that design back to your cart.
How do I delete items from my Shopping Cart?
A:Click the "Delete Design" button found in any design item to remove that item from your cart.
How do I make a new design?
A:Click the button that says "New Design" which is found at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page. This takes you back to a blank T-shirt Builder design - ready for your next work of art!
How do I save my Shopping Cart?
A:Click the button that says "Save & Share" which is found at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page. This will automatically save your Shopping Cart and all of the design and quantity information. It will also ask you if you wish to email it to somebody - maybe a friend, boss, or yourself!
You will need to be logged in to be able to save your Shopping Cart.
Can I email my Shopping Cart?
A:You sure can! Click the button that says "Save & Share" which is found at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page. This will automatically save your Shopping Cart and ask what email address you would like to send a copy of your Shopping Cart quote to. Simply fill in the email address and click "Send".
You will need to be logged in to be able to email your Shopping Cart.
I'm all done! Now what?
A:Awesome! Click the "Buy Now" button found at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page to proceed to checkout! You're almost finished! You can also save your Shopping Cart for future use by clicking the "Save & Share" button.
I want to pay and check out - where can I do this?
A:Great! Click the "Buy Now" button found at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page to proceed to checkout! You're almost finished!
Customer Account Help
Questions concerning the use of Broken Arrow user accounts and their operation.
I don't have a login or an account with you - how can I create one?
A:Find the login area located in the upper right hand corner of the T-shirt Builder or Shopping Cart page and click either the "Log In" or "My Account" button. On the next page, click "Create an Account" and enter your email, a password, and a security question and answer.
This is known as a Quick Registration. When you place your order you will be able to enter your billing and shipping information which will be stored for future use.
If you are new to the T-shirt Builder and Shopping Cart, you will need to create a new account in order to save information or place your order.
I have a login and account with you - how do I log in?
A:Find the login area located in the upper right hand corner of the T-shirt Builder or Shopping Cart page and click either the "Log In" or "My Account" button. On the next page, enter the email and password associated with your account.
I forgot my password - HELP!
A:Go to the log in screen and click "Forgot Your Password". You will need to enter the email associated with your account as well as correctly answer your security question. Your new password will be emailed to you.
Is there a place where I can view and edit my account information?
A:You sure can! Once you've logged in, click the "My Account" button found in the login area located in the upper right hand corner of the T-Shirt Builder or Shopping Cart page. From here you can view or edit your billing and shipping information. You can also change your password here.
Can I reset my password?
A:Yup! On the My Account page, click the tab that says "Change Password". Once on the Change Password tab, enter in your old password followed by your new password. Click "Save" once finished and your password will have been changed.
Can I change my billing address?
A:Definitely! You can change your billing address and information on the My Account page specifically on the "My Information" tab.
Additionally, any time you change your billing information when you check out, those revisions will automatically be updated in your account.
Can I change my shipping address?
A:Yes. You can change your shipping address information on the My Account page specifically on the "Shipping Addresses" tab. Select the shipping address you would like to change and click the "Edit" button next to the address. The shipping address information should display and you are free to edit it. Once finished, click the "Save" button and your changes will be made.
Can I save my shipping addresses for future use?
A:You sure can! First go to the My Account page. Once on the My Account page, go to the "Shipping Addresses" tab. From here, you can add shipping addresses to individually use for your orders. Click the "Add" button and enter in the shipping address. Click "Save" to store the address.
Additionally, any new shipping address you enter while checking out will be saved and stored for you.
