Product Selection
Begin by selecting the particular product that you wish to design. You can
display all of the items in a particular category or you can display the
garments by brand in that particular category. If you want to change the color
of the product you've selected, use the color picker near the product
description.
Once you've selected a product you can begin designing!
Designing Your Product
To add text, click the Add Text button. Enter the text you want and then
select the font face and color. You can also change the font styling (bold,
italics, outline color, and shadow color) as well as arching the shape or
inverting the colors of your text. You can move, rotate, and resize the text by
using the controls that appear when you select the text with your cursor.
To add graphics, click the Add Graphics button. You can add clip art from our
library to your design. To do this, choose the category you want and then click
the piece of art you wish to add. Once you have chosen the piece of clip art you
want, you can change the color of that piece using the color picker located on
the Add Graphics tab. You can move, rotate, and resize the graphic by using the
controls that appear when you select the text with your cursor.
To add multiple pieces of clip art, simply repeat the Add Graphics process.
Make sure to unselect the piece of clip art when you are finished placing it
otherwise you will change the clip art you just placed with whatever new piece
you select. This applies to the Add Text process as well.
Once you have completed your design, be sure to click the UPDATE DESIGN
button. Clicking this button sends the correct design information to the Garment
Decoration Detail box found on the Get Quote tab located on the right half of
the builder page. The Garment Decoration Detail box tells you how many colors
are in your design for each location on your product.
You will be asked to enter your email address once you click the UPDATE
DESIGN button. This is done so the builder can save your designs. Once you have
entered your email address, you won't be asked to enter it again for saving
purposes.
Getting a Quote
Once you have completed your design and clicked the Update Design button, you
can create a quote by entering your size information. You can enter in the
quantities for the sizes you need in the Enter your Sizes box located on the Get
Quote tab. As you enter in your sizes, the prices will appear in the Price
Breakdown box.
You can edit your design after you have made a quote, just remember to click
the UPDATE DESIGN button when finished. Doing this will update the Garment
Decoration Detail information as well as the prices in the Price Breakdown box.
Emailing Yourself and Others
After completing your quote, we encourage you to email yourself and others a
copy of this quote. The email sent will include your quote as well as a link
back to the design you just made. You can enter up to three email addresses as
well as a short message. Once you've entered in the email addresses you want,
click the Email Quote button.
Saving and Retrieving Your Design
You can save your design by clicking the Save/Load Design button. The first
time you go to save your design, you will be asked to enter your email address.
This is done so the builder can save your designs. Once you have entered your
email address, you won't be asked to enter it again for saving purposes. Enter
in a design name and click the Save button at the bottom of the window.
To retrieve a saved design, click the Save/Load Design button. From there,
choose the design name for which you want to load. You can also use the
timestamp provided to help you choose the correct design.
