Step 1: Your skin tone.
Skin tone is the most important factor in determining the colors that look best on you.
If you have blue undertones, you are either a Winter or Summer.
If you have golden undertones, you are either a Autumn or a Spring.

Step 2: Colors you like.
Pick the group of colors from the lists below that have been the most flattering to you. Pick the group that have brought you compliments from others.
