School Fundraisers Custom T-Shirts

The beginning of the school year also means school fundraiser season.  As a parent of 2 closely spaced children, this is not my favorite time of year.  This year we decided (ok, I decided) not to partake in the school fundraiser.  The school is selling frozen pizzas and cookie dough.  Let’s say my children sale a bunch of this stuff.  I will then need to have a place to store FROZEN food until I can deliver it.  And being a great school, it needs to be picked up in the middle of the day when it does come in.  Sure I will get off of work to go shove frozen pizza into my freezer and later deliver.  What do I suggest as a fundraiser you ask?  Custom printed t-shirts and promotional items.  Kids grow fast and styles change a lot so shirts are always a good option.  Promotional items like mascot koozies would be great to buy for grandma and gramdpa or sublimation coffee mugs.  Get the local coffee shop to sell some travel mugs with the school mascot to raise money from patrons who do not have kids.  That is my 2cents on school fundraisers.  Next year I may have to volunteer to be on the fundraiser committee.
