Art Information & Requirements

Vector Art is the best to send us. We will accept design in vector as well as raster formats from the following programs:

• Adobe Illustrator
• Macromedia Freehand
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Fireworks
• Adobe Flash
• Corel Draw
• Microsoft Paint
• Microsoft Photo Draw
• Paint Shop Pro

Photo Realistic Art (raster)

Photographic Art (or Photo Realistic Design) is Art that incorporates scanned in imagery, or art that is built in a pixel based program such as Photoshop or Photopaint.

Common file extensions for such files are .psd, .tif, .jpg (jpeg), .gif & .png.

This includes any art built in a vector-based program that also incorporates imported or placed photographic elements. In order to reproduce a photographic image, we require a file with a resolution of 300 dots (pixels) per inch or the actual photo.

Vector Art

Vector Art is art that is built (actually drawn) in a vector or object based program such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Adobe Freehand. Each object in vector file can be selected and individually manipulated independently from the rest of the image.

Common files extensions for this type of file include .ai, .eps, .cdr & .fla.

When providing such files, it is important to convert to curves or create outlines out of all text used. For a vector art file (i.e. Adobe Illustrator file) with no placed images resolution is not a concern.

Artwork Policy

• Broken Arrow Wear specializes in custom graphic design for our customers. Your artwork belongs to your order. We do not allow others to print or reproduce your designs without your permission.
• All custom artwork created by Broken Arrow is the property of Broken Arrow.
• All custom designs will bear our signature line .

Complex Jobs

Broken Arrow is happy to take on your complex job! Understand however, there may be an upcharge if your job is complex.

Excessive Revisions

Broken Arrow reserves the right to apply an art charge for excessive revisions.

$50 Deposit

Broken Arrow requires a $50 deposit to begin work on your artwork. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE but is applied to the balance of your custom garment order.

School Logo Policy

• References to schools shall be portrayed in a positive or neutral regard. Broken Arrow will not print anything that portrays a negative image about a school. References to a school will not be printed if such references may potentially be perceived as negative towards a school.
• Broken Arrow will not print any offensive gestures, words, and/or graphics if references to a school are made. This includes, but not limited to profanity, alcohol or drug use, or other such illegal activities.
• Broken Arrow will not print any racially motivated or derogatory messages and/or graphics.
• Broken Arrow reserves the right to refuse service. Questionable artwork will not be created
  or printed.
